IPR or interproximal reductions means removing minute amount of the enamel, which is the outer tooth layer, the amount removed is 0,5 mm maximum from each side, this will provide a room to relieve crooked teeth. IPR procedure is not painful and easy to perform, may be made in one visit or divided into more than visit according to your dentist plan.
